Lower Your Blood Pressure

Tips for lowering your blood pressure:

- Use less salt. Limit your intake of salty foods.
- Limit your alcohol intake. For ladies, no more than one drink per day, for gentlemen, no more than two drinks per day.
- Know what your weight should be. Keep it at or below that level.
- Enjoy at least 30 minutes of physical activity at least five days a week.
- Know your blood pressure. Have it checked regularly.
- Make sure your parents, siblings, and children have their blood pressure checked regularly.
- Keep appointments with your doctor.
- Take your medication.
